Have been having another go at white-line printmaking. This is a small port on the Dorset Coast called West Bay. There is still a fishing fleet there, and I hope to be creating more images from the area.
Am finding it all hard going at the moment, probably the usual autumn blues as I wonder why I am not living in a place with no winter. The printmaking challenge helps to keep me going. Hope all well out there!

This subject really lends itself to white-line, and perhaps the angular lines/boats/architecture and cubism of the Providence people are partly the reason why their prints looked so appealing. This is a lovely image, composition, colours very successful.

The colors are always so striking when the lines are white instead of black. They become the focus of the image. Love it.
